KZC Operational & Administrative Structures

The operational and administrative structures of KZC are meant to empower her mission in becoming the center for healing, liberation, growth, and affirmation for her ministry to the world. The broader vision of KZC is to maintain its status as the caring united covenant community of God- the body of Christ; an organic unit in which each member [each part of the living body] has her or his unique gift and ministry, in the community of the Holy Spirit; a redemptive, healing community through which the living Spirit can work in a very needy world. The church is headed by a Bishop under whom there is the Senior President who also chairs both the board and the General Council.  The church structure also incorporates regional leadership, women and youth leadership.

All the functions and role of the said structures have a single unifying goal in increasing human growth pivoted in the Spirit. Each structure will be an instrument of growth and healing, a channel of pastoral caring.

ADMINSTRATIVE STRUCTURE

The operational and administrative structures of KZC, depicts the complementary interrelationships of the major dimensions of her vision and mission. All the functions and role of the said structures have a single unifying goal in increasing human growth pivoted in the Spirit. Each structure will be an instrument of growth and healing, a channel of pastoral caring. These are:

Congregational Leadership & Development [Administration]
This instrument is a way of creating and maintaining healthy groups, organizations, and structures, within which growth can flourish. Furthermore, practicing church management in a person valuing way is the heart of organizational development as applied to a congregation.

Pastoral Care & Counseling [ Counselors]
This is the valuable aspect of the KZC ministry as its being one part of a network of potentially complementary growth enabling functions. This integral part of the church ministry depicted above will help KZC reduce the sense of fragmentation and conflict among its essential functions.

Transformation & Education [Teachers of the Word]
This is the church’s way of fostering whole person growth and teaching relevant wisdom from our religious tradition or doctrine. A congregation’s smorgasbord of classes and growth groups can be seed-beds of mutual carrying where the growth of membership unity is cultivated.

Praise & Worship [Musical Priesthood]
This is the churches’ central group experience, that can help people renew their basic trust, resolve their guilt, experience the transcendent dimension of life, and have their spiritual hungers nourished.  The church is endowed with national reknowned church choirs which also feature prominently in the national TV and Radion stations.

Evangelism & Edification [Preaching Ministry]
This is an essential medium open to ministers of the word to enhance growth in the membership by expanding their horizons, shedding light of the biblical wisdom on their down to earth problems, and confronting them, in the spirit of love, with their need to grow

Social Action [Prophetic Role]
KZC through this mechanism seeks to change a community and its institutions so that they will continue to support not stifle growth in its entire membership.

Community Service [Servant-hood]
This is the KZC outreach ministry meant to serve the needs of the people in a churches’ wider community of caring- a community that extends in concentric circles to include the global community.

Lay Enabling [Trainers of Trainees]
KZC is involved in such duty of releasing the wealth of capacities for mutual ministry in the church through a program of lay training or workshop.

KZC is the church alive and aware of its changing societal context and endeavours to become the center of transformation where her membership can learn how to live the abundant life in this turbulent, exciting moment in history. Amid the convulsions of change of change chaos, oppression, and violence in our chaotic world, this vision may seem to be a wish inspired fantasy. But the desire of KZC has always been to dream impossible dreams (in the worst of time) and to work tenaciously to make them reality! Guided by the growth ethic, pastoral care and counseling KZC will always become the increasingly effective instrument of healing and transformation, and thus participate in the birthing of a new age of membership growth anchored in Spirit on the earth!
